Our portfolio includes fiction, nonfiction, memoirs, children's books, poetry, business titles, and more.
Some authors come to us with a finished manuscript. Others come with an early draft or simply an idea they're ready to take seriously. Our role depends on what the book needs.
Behind the Books
A finished book may look simple on the shelf, but getting it there takes a lot of careful work.
For selected projects, we take you behind the scenes to show where the book started, what the author needed, and the work that went into preparing it for publication.

We can talk about our process, but the experience of the authors we work with says more.
This book carries a message I truly believe women need to hear. I wanted to talk openly about the choices we make in love, the importance of knowing our worth, and the role faith can play in healing and moving forward. The publishing process helped me organize those thoughts without losing the honesty behind them. I'm very pleased with how the book came together. It feels encouraging, purposeful, and true to the message God placed on my heart.
Seeing Lulu and Curly go from characters in my imagination to a real illustrated book was such a fun experience. I had a very specific feeling in mind for the story: playful, colorful, a little adventurous, and full of heart. Watching each new setting and illustration take shape was probably my favorite part of the process. The finished book has the warmth and personality I hoped for, and I can easily imagine children following along with Lulu, wondering where Curly could possibly be hiding.
Poetry is different from most writing because sometimes a single word, a pause, or even the space around a poem matters. With Mystics Recourse, I did not want that intimacy lost in the publishing process. These poems came from many different periods of my life, including illness, recovery, solitude, and a renewed appreciation for nature and simply being alive. What I value most that it still feels like my work. It has been given structure and a professional form without becoming overly polished or separated from the experiences that produced it. That mattered to me.
